Scranton is the sixth-largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania behind Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie and Reading. Visiting Bushkill Falls and Sam's Point Preserve will get you outdoors. Visit St. Stanislaus Historical Catholic Cathedral and Lackawanna County Courthouse Square for their historical value. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Scranton: Bethel (Catskill Distilling Company & Lake Superior State Park), Roscoe (Buck Brook Alpacas & Do Good Spirits) and Bashakill Vineyards (in Wurtsboro). There's still lots to do: immerse yourself in nature at Ricketts Glen State Park, hike along Wildlands Conservancy- Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, tour the pleasant surroundings at Lake Scranton Walking Trail, and look for all kinds of wild species at Delaware Otsego Audubon Soc. Sanctuary.
