Seattle

— 59 nights

Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Change things up with these side-trips from Seattle: Double Bluff County Park (in Freeland), Mount Vernon (Tulip Town & Roozengaarde Display Garden) and Langley (Whidbey Island Distillery & Langley Whale Center). Dedicate the 5th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Spend the 29th (Sun) wandering through the wild on Discover Nature. There's still lots to do: view the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, don't miss a visit to Hurricane Ridge, and stroll around Discovery Park.

To see reviews, more things to do, ratings, and other tourist information, use the Seattle day trip planner.

In April in Seattle, expect temperatures between 61°F during the day and 46°F at night.
