Seattle

— 59 nights

Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Escape the urban bustle at Hurricane Ridge and Snoqualmie Falls. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Bruce Lee Grave Site and Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Anacortes (Tommy Thompson Trail, Dolphin & Whale Watching, &more), Coupeville (Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve & Fort Casey State Park) and Mount Vernon (Roozengaarde Display Garden & Tulip Town). Dedicate the 20th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Spend the 22nd (Sat) wandering through the wild on Discover Nature. Next up on the itinerary: take in the exciting artwork at Chihuly Garden and Glass, get engrossed in the history at Museum of History & Industry, hike along Whatcom Falls Park, and examine the collection at The Museum of Flight.

To find maps, more things to do, ratings, and other tourist information, go to the Seattle holiday planning site.

April in Seattle sees daily highs of 61°F and lows of 46°F at night.
