Tulsa — 59 nights

Capital of Route 66

Sometimes known as the "Buckle of the Bible Belt," Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma.
Get out of town with these interesting Tulsa side-trips: Bartlesville (Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, Bartlesville Union Depot, &more), Muskogee (The Castle of Muskogee, Five Civilized Tribes Museum, &more) and Oklahoma City (99s Museum of Women Pilots, SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology, &more). Next up on the itinerary: admire the masterpieces at Philbrook Museum of Art, let the kids burn off some steam at Gathering Place, see the interesting displays at Woody Guthrie Center, and pause for some photo ops at The Golden Driller.

To find photos, more things to do, where to stay, and other tourist information, refer to the Tulsa trip planning website.

If you are flying in from Myanmar, the closest major aiports are Tulsa International Airport, Will Rogers World Airport and Tinker Air Force Base. In October, plan for daily highs up to 28°C, and evening lows to 13°C.
