Salem is the capital of the U.S. state of Oregon, and the county seat of Marion County. Generally considered to be the oldest town established by European Americans in the Black Hills, Custer began as a mining town.Venture out of the city with trips to Presidential Trail (in Keystone), Wind Cave National Park (in Wind Cave National Park) and The Mammoth Site of Hot Springs (in Hot Springs).
