Vancouver — 59 nights

Vancouver is a city on the north bank of the Columbia River in the U.S. State of Washington, and the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon. Get out of town with these interesting Vancouver side-trips: Cascade Locks (Starvation Creek State Park, Starvation Creek Ridge Loop, &more), Roloff Farms (in Hillsboro) and Astoria (Astoria Column, Columbia River Maritime Museum, &more). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Fort Vancouver | National Historic Site, explore the activities along Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, awaken your taste buds at Wine Dirt, and take in the dramatic scenery at Multnomah Falls.
