Escape the urban bustle at Kanawha State Forest and Wallace Hartman Nature Preserve. Do your shopping at Culture Center and South Charleston Antique Mall. Venture out of the city with trips to Williamson (The Coal House & Hatfield McCoy Trail - Buffalo Mountain Trail System), Hatfield-McCoy Trail (in Lyburn) and Blenko Glass Co (in Milton). There's still lots to do: browse the eclectic array of goods at Capitol Market, get engrossed in the history at West Virginia State Museum, get a taste of the local shopping with Charleston Town Center Mall, and grab your bike and head to Little Creek Park.
