The narrow city of Ketchikan clings to the bluffs that form Revillagigedo Island's southwestern shore.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sun): admire the majestic nature at Totem Bight State Historical Park and then contemplate the long history of Saxman Native Village. On your second day here, explore the striking landscape at Misty Fjords National Monument, examine the collection at Dolly's House Museum, then steep yourself in history at Totem Heritage Center, and finally stop by The Rain Barrel.

The City and Borough of Sitka, formerly Novo-Arkhangelsk, or New Archangel under Russian rule, is a unified city-borough located on Baranof Island and the southern half of Chichagof Island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean (part of the Alaska Panhandle), in the U.S. Kick off your visit on the 26th (Tue): identify plant and animal life at Alaska Raptor Center, see the interesting displays at Sheldon Jackson Museum, and then admire the landmark architecture of Russian Bishop's House.

Homer

Homer is a city located in Kenai Peninsula Borough in the U.S. On the 27th (Wed), pause for some photo ops at Seafarer's Memorial, tour the pleasant surroundings at Homer Spit, hit the best photo ops around with an inspiring photography tour, then get a new perspective on nature at Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center, and finally see the interesting displays at Pratt Museum. On the next day, immerse yourself in nature at Kachemak Bay State Park.

With its strip malls and fast-food restaurants, Fairbanks appears a bit functional on first glance.
