An old colonial city and a busy cruise ship port less than an hour's drive from Houston, Galveston sits on Galveston Island and serves as a popular vacation destination for both domestic and international travelers.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Galveston Island Brewing Company, Rum Shack, Galveston's 61st Street Fishing Pier, and other attractions you added. On the 16th (Tue), learn about all things military at Galveston Naval Museum, then stroll the grounds of Old City Cemetery, and then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Galveston Island Brewing Company. Here are some ideas for day two: kick back and relax at Stewart Beach, get engrossed in the history at The Bryan Museum, steep yourself in history at Bishop's Palace, then appreciate the extensive heritage of The Strand, and finally join in the after-dark buzz at Rum Shack.

One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Dallas Arts District as well as Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Start off your visit on the 19th (Fri): examine the collection at Perot Museum of Nature and Science and then take some stellar pictures from Reunion Tower. Keep things going the next day: take in nature's colorful creations at Fort Worth Botanic Garden and then take a stroll through Dallas Arts District.
