Historic High Country

A small resort town located in Georgia's "Historic High Country," Blue Ridge sits right on the national scenic trail that follows the Appalachian mountain range for over 3,300 km (2,100 mi).
You've added Three Sisters Fudge, Anna Ruby Falls, Mercier Orchards, and other attractions to your itinerary. Discover out-of-the-way places like Expedition:BIGFOOT! and Falls Branch Falls. Get outdoors at Long Creek Falls and Dukes Creek Falls Trail. Venture out of the city with trips to Hansel and Gretel Candy Kitchen (in Helen) and Helton Creek Falls (in Blairsville). The adventure continues: snap pictures at Toccoa River Swinging Bridge.

High Springs to Blue Ridge is an approximately 6-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of car and flight. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from High Springs in April, with highs in Blue Ridge at 67°F and lows at 45°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 24th (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
