The Queen of the West

Situated on the north bank of the Ohio River, Cincinnati distinguished itself as the only U.S.
Get some cultural insight at Carillon Historical Park and America's Packard Museum - The Citizens Motorcar Co.. Let the collections at American Sign Museum and Taft Museum of Art capture your imagination. Venture out of the city with trips to Madison (Jefferson County Historical Society, Lanier Mansion State Historic Site, &more), Ohio Renaissance Festival (in Harveysburg) and Dayton (National Aviation Hall of Fame, Woodland Cemetery & Arboretum, &more). There's still lots to do: stroll the grounds of Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum, see the interesting displays at Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, and get to know the fascinating history of Mount Adams.

For where to stay and more tourist information, refer to the Cincinnati itinerary planning site.

In September, plan for daily highs up to 80°F, and evening lows to 56°F.
