McHenry is a small community located in Garrett County, Maryland on the northern most shore of Deep Creek Lake.Located on the outskirts of McHenry is the Garrett County Airport, Wisp Ski Resort, and Golf Club at Wisp.McHenry is part of the media market of Pittsburgh.McHenry's population as of 2012 was 1,328. On the 6th (Fri), admire the majestic nature at Swallow Falls State Park and then immerse yourself in nature at Herrington Manor State Park. On your second day here, get outside with Outdoor Activities and then admire the majestic nature at Ohiopyle State Park.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park contains some of the highest mountains east of the Mississippi River, but it's the ease of access that makes this national park the United States' most visited.
