Situated in one of Florida's busiest vacation areas, Cocoa Beach burst onto the world scene in the 1960s, when it became a popular setting for parades honoring the nation's "Apollo" astronauts.
On the 21st (Sun), kick back and relax at Cocoa Beach and then see majestic marine mammals with Time and Tide Tours. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look and learn at NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and then engage your brain at Space Shuttle Atlantis.

Indianapolis to Cocoa Beach is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Indianapolis in March, with highs in Cocoa Beach at 75°F and lows at 61°F. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
