Founded in 1859 as part of the Gold Rush in the Rockies, Breckenridge boasts a main street lined with colorful wooden storefronts housing cafes and shops, giving the effect of a thriving western town from the 19th century.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): don't miss a visit to Main Street, then explore and take pictures at Boreas Pass Road, and then get all the information you need at Breckenridge Welcome Center. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the spiritual surroundings of Beaver Creek Chapel and then fly down the slopes at Beaver Creek Ski Area.

On the 28th (Fri), look for gifts at Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, take in the waterfront at Rotary Park Boardwalk, and then fly down the slopes at Steamboat Ski Resort.
