Glenwood Springs

Glenwood Springs occupies a scenic location at the junction of the Colorado River and the Roaring Fork River, halfway between Vail and Aspen along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.

Durango

Originally a frontier mining town, Durango is known today for its scenic setting, outdoor activities, and the 1880s steam-powered railway that takes visitors through sections of the mountains where roads don't reach.
On the 21st (Mon), trek along Animas River Trail and then cruise along Million Dollar Highway. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue): see the interesting displays at Durango Fish Hatchery and Wildlife Museum, trot along with a tour on horseback, and then fly down the slopes at Purgatory Resort.

Steamboat Springs

Ski Town USA

An internationally known ski resort, Steamboat Springs sits in the shadow of Mount Werner in north central Colorado.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Fri): fly down the slopes at Steamboat Gondola, then hike along Yampa River Core Trail, then steep yourself in history at Tread of Pioneers Museum, and finally hit the slopes at Howelsen Hill Ski Area.
