Dallas — 3 nights

One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Sail with Scott as well as Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Take a break from the city and head to Dinosaur Valley State Park and Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Explore hidden gems such as Bishop Arts District and Dallas Arts District. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dallas: Revolver Brewery (in Granbury) and Bendt Distilling Co. (in Lewisville). It doesn't end there: get a taste of the local shopping with NorthPark Center and stop by Wild Bill's Western Store.

For other places to visit, maps, traveler tips, and tourist information, read our Dallas trip site.

The Route module shows you travel options from your home to Dallas. In July in Dallas, expect temperatures between 96°F during the day and 78°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Grapevine.
