Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Kids will enjoy Central Park and Statue of Liberty National Monument. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, take in the views from Brooklyn Bridge, see the interesting displays at New York Public Library, and make a trip to Rockefeller Center.

Kids will enjoy National Air and Space Museum and Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at National Gallery of Art, get advice or help at Library of Congress, pause for some photo ops at Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and get a sense of history and politics at United States Capitol.
