Charleston — 1 night

Many visitors describe their Charleston holiday as a warm embrace by an old, dear friend--who lived about 200 years ago.

Casper to Charleston is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Mountain Standard Time (MST) to Eastern Standard Time (EST), which is usually a 2 hour difference. While traveling from Casper, expect a bit warmer days and much hotter nights in Charleston, ranging from highs of 66°F to lows of 47°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Savannah.

Traveling by train from Charleston to Savannah takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In March, plan for daily highs up to 69°F, and evening lows to 48°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Merritt Island.

In March, Merritt Island is somewhat warmer than Savannah - with highs of 75°F and lows of 61°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Thu) so you can catch the flight to Williamsburg.

Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Merritt Island in March: highs in Williamsburg hover around 60°F, while lows dip to 38°F.
