Tybee Island is a city and barrier island located in Chatham County, Georgia, 18 miles (29 km) east of Savannah, United States. Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Tybee Island Beach.

New York City to Tybee Island is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from New York City in March: high temperatures in Tybee Island hover around 65°F and lows are around 50°F. Brunswick is a city in and the county seat of Glynn County, Georgia, United States. Discover out-of-the-way places like Dolphin & Whale Watching and Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation. Popular historic sites such as Fort Frederica National Monument and Christ Church are in your itinerary. Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at St. Simons Lighthouse Museum, get a dose of the wild on Golden Isles Carriage and Trail at Three Oaks Farm, steep yourself in history at Horton House, and take a stroll through Jekyll Island Historic District.

Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
Colonial Park Cemetery and Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Kids will enjoy National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force and Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum.
