Honolulu — 6 nights

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Dole Plantation, Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut Farm and Farm Tour, Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens, and other attractions. Get outdoors at Waikiki Beach and Waimea Bay. There's still lots to do: stroll the grounds of USS Arizona Memorial, take in the dramatic natural features at Halona Blowhole, appreciate the views at Nu’uanu Pali, and contemplate the waterfront views at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.

For where to stay, more things to do, other places to visit, and tourist information, use the Honolulu online visit planner.

Los Angeles to Honolulu is an approximately 7-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Pacific Standard Time to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time is minus 2 hours. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Los Angeles in November: high temperatures in Honolulu hover around 84°F and lows are around 72°F. You will have some time to spend on the 19th (Fri) before leaving for home.
