Thanks to its proximity to the capital and scenic location on Puerto Rico's eastern coastline, Humacao remains a frequent stop for many international travelers.
Do some cultural sightseeing at El Portal Tropical Forest Center and Ruta del Corazon Criollo. Visiting Balneario Luquillo and Zipline will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Fajardo (Santa Isidra Catholic Mass, Icacos Island, & more), Caribbean Trading Company Store (in Palmer) and Monserrate Beach (in Luquillo). There's lots more to do: visit a coastal fixture at Tuna Point Lighthouse, see the interesting displays at Casa Roig Museum, kick back and relax at Seven Seas Beach, and step off the mainland to explore Palomino Island.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airport is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. In March in Humacao, expect temperatures between 84°F during the day and 72°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
