Boise — 1 night

From its main thoroughfare, Boise greets visitors with a view of downtown framed by the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Sat): stroll through Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area and then ponder the world of politics at Idaho State Capitol Building. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the long history of Old Idaho Penitentiary, stroll through Boise River Greenbelt, and then sample the tasty concoctions at Payette Brewing Company.

Portland to Boise is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Portland to Boise due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Portland in February, Boise is little chillier at night with lows of 31°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Sun) early enough to go by car to McCall.

McCall — 2 nights

McCall is a resort town on the western edge of Valley County, Idaho, United States. On the 14th (Mon), cast your line with River Adventures and then explore the activities along Payette Lake. On the next day, hit the slopes at Bear Basin Nordic Center and then hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain Resort.

You can drive from Boise to McCall in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In February, McCall is a bit cooler than Boise - with highs of 36°F and lows of 17°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Tue) so you can travel to Sun Valley.

Sun Valley — 2 nights

Sun Valley is a resort city in Blaine County in central Idaho, in the western United States. On the 16th (Wed), take in the awesome beauty at Bald Mountain and then head outdoors with Fly Sun Valley. On the 17th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: fly down the slopes at Sun Valley Resort, then hike along Bald Mountain Trail, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Dollar Mountain.

Drive from McCall to Sun Valley in 4.5 hours. February in Sun Valley sees daily highs of 37°F and lows of 21°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to travel to Twin Falls.

Twin Falls — 1 night

Twin Falls is the county seat and largest city of Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. Kick off your visit on the 18th (Fri): snap pictures at Perrine Bridge, whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then admire the sheer force of Shoshone Falls.
