The River City

The sprawling city of Jacksonville is not only Florida's most populous city, but also the largest city by land area in the continental United States.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sat): explore the world behind art at The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and then take a stroll through San Marco Historic District. Keep things going the next day: pause for some photo ops at Veterans Memorial Wall, get to know the resident critters at Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens, look for all kinds of wild species at Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, then see what you can catch with a fishing tour, and finally let little ones run wild at Ed Austin Regional Park.
