Jim Thorpe is a borough and the county seat of Carbon County in the U.S. On the 5th (Sun), get engrossed in the history at Old Jail Museum and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Episcopal Parish of St. Mark and St. John. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the long history of Asa Packer Mansion, then look for all kinds of wild species at Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary, and then appreciate the history behind Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall.
