Poipū is a census-designated place in Kauai County on the southern side of the island of Kauai in the U.S. Get out of town with these interesting Poipu side-trips: Wailua Falls (in Lihue) and Lydgate State Park (in Wailua). The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Poipu Beach Park, stroll through Shipwreck Beach, play a few rounds at Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course, and see the world from above with a helicopter tour.
