Known internationally as the "Horse Capital of the World," Lexington boasts a thriving economy resting largely on its thoroughbred racehorse industry.
Get outdoors at Kentucky Horse Park and Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. Museum-lovers will appreciate Ark Encounter and Berea Arts Council. Change things up with a short trip to Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea in Berea (about 50 minutes away).
