Charlotte to Key West is an approximately 15.5-hour car ride. You can also fly; or drive; or do a combination of bus, taxi, and ferry. In December, Key West is much hotter than Charlotte - with highs of 79°F and lows of 71°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Tue) early enough to travel to Charlotte.
