Lafayette is a city located along the Vermilion River in southwestern Louisiana. Get some historical perspective at Houmas House and Gardens and Vermilionville. You'll explore and learn at USS Kidd and Acadian Cultural Center. When in Lafayette, make a side trip to see Mike the Tiger's Habitat in Baton Rouge, approximately Baton Rouge away.
