Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island — 2 nights

Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine, United States. Go for a jaunt from Bar Harbor to Winter Harbor to see Schoodic Point about 46 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: take in the awesome beauty at Cadillac Mountain, go for a walk through Compass Harbor Trail, cruise along Park Loop Road, and don't miss a visit to Land Bridge to Bar Island.

Ogunquit means "beautiful place by the sea" in the language of the Native Americans who inhabited the region long ago, and this remains an accurate description of this holiday destination today.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ogunquit: Portland Head Light (in Cape Elizabeth) and Beer Tastings & Tours (in Portland).
