Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. Kick off your visit on the 31st (Mon): contemplate the waterfront views at Tahquamenon Falls and then admire the sheer force of Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Keep things going the next day: take an in-depth tour of Whitefish Point Light, examine the collection at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and then see the sky in a new way at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory.

Detroit to Paradise is an approximately 5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. In May, Paradise is a bit cooler than Detroit - with highs of 61°F and lows of 39°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Tue) early enough to go by car to Saint Ignace.

Saint Ignace

Saint Ignace, usually written as St. Venture out of the city with trips to Sault Ste. Marie (Tower of History, Soo Locks, &more). And it doesn't end there: snap pictures at Mackinac Bridge, admire the landmark architecture of Indian Village, examine the collection at Museum of Ojibwa Culture, and take an unorthodox tour of Mystery Spot.

Drive from Paradise to Saint Ignace in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In June in Saint Ignace, expect temperatures between 67°F during the day and 51°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Sat) early enough to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island.
