Minneapolis — 4 nights

Located on both banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis salutes the state's love of the outdoors with numerous lakes, wetlands, creeks, and waterfalls--many connected to one another by a national scenic byway great for sightseeing.
Kids will enjoy Minnehaha Park and Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. And it doesn't end there: admire the masterpieces at Minneapolis Institute of Art, browse the different shops at Mall of America, examine the collection at Science Museum of Minnesota, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Saint Paul.

For traveler tips, maps, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Minneapolis itinerary maker.
