On the 22nd (Mon), admire all the interesting features of Enchanted Circle Drive. Keep things going the next day: trot along with a tour on horseback, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Goose Lake Trail, and then get interesting insight from Tours.

You'll discover tucked-away gems like Pecos National Historical Park and El Rancho de las Golondrinas. Get in touch with nature at Valles Caldera National Preserve and Tsankawi prehistoic site - bandelier national monument. Get out of town with these interesting Santa Fe side-trips: Jemez Springs (Jemez Hot Springs: Home of The Giggling Springs & Jemez Historic Site) and Bradbury Science Museum (in Los Alamos). Getting from Taos to Santa Fe by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. Traveling from Taos in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Santa Fe, with lows of 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 27th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
