Carlsbad is a city in and the county seat of Eddy County, New Mexico, United States. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): explore the striking landscape at Lion's Tail, then get a dose of the wild on Carlsbad Caverns Natural Entrance Tour, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Hall of The White Giant. On your second day here, Head underground at Slaughter Canyon Cave, then take in the dramatic natural features at Giant Dome, and then explore the activities along Green Lake.
