Corolla — 2 nights

A trip to Corolla will add a bit of slow-paced fun to your Outer Banks holiday.
On the 20th (Mon), fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour. On your second day here, get your game on at Corolla Raceway, then visit a coastal fixture at Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Museum, then kick back and relax at Carova Beach, and finally cruise along Beach Jeeps of Corolla.

Pittsburgh to Corolla is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and car. In July, Corolla is somewhat warmer than Pittsburgh - with highs of 88°F and lows of 72°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can drive to Manteo.

Manteo is a town in Dare County, North Carolina, United States, located on Roanoke Island. Surf City, Topsail Island — 1 night

Surf City is a town in Pender and Onslow counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): take a leisurely stroll along Surf City Pier, head off the coast to Topsail Island, and then stroll around Soundside Park.
