More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Sun): appreciate the extensive heritage of German Village, then steep yourself in history at Sherman House Museum, and then kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks. On the 24th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Joseph Cathedral, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Greek Orthodox Cathedral, then delve into the distant past at Great Circle Earthworks, and finally examine the collection at Wagner-Hagans Auto Museum.
