A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum and Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Kids will enjoy Powell's City of Books and Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Step out of Portland with an excursion to Multnomah Falls in Bridal Veil--about 38 minutes away. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at International Rose Test Garden, walk around Laurelhurst Park, admire the landmark architecture of Pittock Mansion, and head outdoors with Portland Timbers.
