Manteo is a town in Dare County, North Carolina, United States, located on Roanoke Island. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge and Island Farm. Visiting Paradise Dolphin Cruises and Coastal Helicopters will get you outdoors.
