Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Mon): get engrossed in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, take in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park, contemplate the long history of Eisenhower National Historic Site, then get to know the fascinating history of Shriver House Museum, and finally contemplate the long history of Dobbin House Tavern. On the 12th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Gettysburg Diorama, explore the different monuments and memorials at Gettysburg National Cemetery, then steep yourself in history at Little Round Top, and finally admire all the interesting features of Confederate Trails of Gettysburg.

Traveling by combination of flight and taxi from Pittsburgh to Gettysburg takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and car.
