Get some historical perspective at Valley Forge National Historical Park and Liberty Bell Center. Visiting Independence National Historical Park and Kelly Drive will get you outdoors. When in Philadelphia, make a side trip to see Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, approximately Kennett Square away. There's much more to do: explore the world behind art at Philadelphia Museum of Art, get a sense of history and politics at Independence Hall, hunt for treasures at Reading Terminal Market, and shop like a local with Rittenhouse Square.
