Your inner history buff will appreciate Valley Forge National Historical Park and Independence Hall. Philadelphia Museum of Art and Eastern State Penitentiary will appeal to museum buffs. Step out of Philadelphia with an excursion to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square--about 52 minutes away. There's still lots to do: browse the eclectic array of goods at Reading Terminal Market, pause for some photo ops at Liberty Bell Center, tour the pleasant surroundings at Kelly Drive, and get to know the fascinating history of Independence National Historical Park.

Cleveland to Philadelphia is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. When traveling from Cleveland in July, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Philadelphia: temperatures range from 88°F by day to 72°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Hershey.
