City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Mount Washington and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Get out of town with these interesting Pittsburgh side-trips: Fallingwater (in Mill Run), Kentuck Knob (in Chalk Hill) and Ohiopyle (Climbing Tours & Ohiopyle State Park). The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Kennywood Park, get to know the resident critters at National Aviary, visit Strip District, and see the interesting displays at Bicycle Heaven.

In July in Pittsburgh, expect temperatures between 32°C during the day and 21°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
