You can fly from New York City to San Juan in 7.5 hours. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Atlantic Standard Time (AST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from New York City in April, things will get much hotter in San Juan: highs are around 87°F and lows about 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) so you can drive to Anasco.

Añasco, named after one of its settlers, Don Luis de Añasco, is a municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located on the west coast of the island bordering the Mona Passage to the west, north of Mayagüez, and Las Marias; south of Rincón, Aguada, and Moca and west of San Sebastián and Las Marias. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Tue): stroll through Crashboat Beach, kick back and relax at Domes Beach, and then have some family-friendly fun at Adventure Zone.
