Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Tue): admire the landmark architecture of Cathedral of our Lady of Guadaloupe, then take in the exciting artwork at Centro Cultural Carmen Sola de Pereira de Ponce, then examine the collection at Parque de Bombas, and finally make a trip to Casa Wiechers-Villaronga.

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
On the 25th (Wed), kick back and relax at Playa Punta Soldado Beach. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Zoni Beach, visit a coastal fixture at Culebrita Lighthouse, and then head off the coast to Culebrita Island.

Traveling by combination of car and ferry from Ponce to Culebra takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle and flight; or do a combination of car, bus, taxi, and ferry.
