With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
On the 15th (Mon), see the interesting displays at Museo Historico de Culebra, then kick back and relax at Zoni Beach, and then step off the mainland to explore Culebrita Island. Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Punta Soldado Beach, stroll through Carlos Rosario Beach, and then kick back and relax at Tamarindo Beach.

San Juan to Culebra is an approximately half hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of shuttle and ferry. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in April, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can catch the ferry to Fajardo.

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. Kick off your visit on the 17th (Wed): whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, then enjoy the sand and surf at Monserrate Beach, and then kick back and relax at Balneario Luquillo.

Traveling by ferry from Culebra to Fajardo takes 1.5 hours. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in April, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Wed) to allow time to ride a ferry to Isla de Vieques.

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
On the 18th (Thu), kick back and relax at Secret Beach, then glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then take a leisurely stroll along Malecon. Keep things going the next day: take a leisurely stroll along Mosquito Pier, stroll through Navio Beach, and then stroll through Media Luna Beach.

Getting from Fajardo to Isla de Vieques by ferry takes about 1.5 hours. In April, daily temperatures in Isla de Vieques can reach 34°C, while at night they dip to 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Fri) so you can travel to Rincon.

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
On the 20th (Sat), stop by Tres Puertas Art Gallery & Blue Mermaid Gift Shop, then identify plant and animal life at Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour. Keep things going the next day: visit a coastal fixture at El Faro Lighthouse, then kick back and relax at Domes Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Sandy Beach.

Fly from Isla de Vieques to Rincon in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, shuttle, and car. In April in Rincon, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 30°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Sun) so you can drive back home.
