Round Rock — 1 night

Round Rock is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, in Williamson County (with a small part in Travis), which is a part of the Greater Austin, Texas metropolitan area. On the 13th (Sun), contemplate the waterfront views at Blue Hole, then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Pflugerville, then make a splash at Rock'n River Family Aquatic Center, and finally let little ones run wild at Play for all park.

Built upon the back of an older cotton-producing town called Gruene, New Braunfels pays tribute to its heritage by maintaining part of the historical town--its post office, general store, and dance hall among other buildings--inside the city limits.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Mon): stroll around Hinman Island Park, explore the activities along Comal River, then let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Landa Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: mingle with the ghosts of the past at Gruene Historic District, then take in the exciting artwork at Barn Pottery, then stroll through Jacob's Well Natural Area, and finally stroll around Blue Hole Regional Park.
