The Alamo City

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like The Alamo and Comal River. Get a sense of the local culture at Briscoe Western Art Museum and The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens. Venture out of the city with trips to The Museum of Western Art (in Kerrville), New Braunfels (Landa Park & New Braunfels Railroad Museum) and Boerne (River Road Park & Cibolo Nature Center). There's still lots to do: get in on the family fun at Morgan's Wonderland, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Joseph Catholic Church, get engrossed in the history at Institute of Texan Cultures, and make a splash at Aquatica San Antonio.
