Minneapolis to Savannah is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Minneapolis to Savannah. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Minneapolis in March, with highs in Savannah at 69°F and lows at 48°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can drive to Hilton Head.

Hilton Head — 3 nights

Getting from Savannah to Hilton Head by car takes about an hour. Other options: take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 65°F, and evening lows to 50°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Savannah.

On the 11th (Sat), stop by Aleksandra's Gift Shop, contemplate the long history of Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, then indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, and finally wander the streets of Savannah Historic District. Keep things going the next day: admire the majestic nature at Wormsloe Historic Site, kick back and relax at Tybee Island Beach, and then go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour.
