Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
On the 19th (Sun), get to know the fascinating history of City Market and then wander the streets of Savannah Historic District. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, brush up on your military savvy at Old Fort Jackson, then get engrossed in the history at Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Colonial Park Cemetery, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mickve Israel Temple.

Nashville to Savannah is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time (CST) to Eastern Standard Time (EST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Expect somewhat warmer evenings in Savannah when traveling from Nashville in May, with lows around 64°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Mon) so you can go by car to Jacksonville.

The sprawling city of Jacksonville is not only Florida's most populous city, but also the largest city by land area in the continental United States.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Tue): contemplate the long history of Fernandina Beach, contemplate the long history of Amelia Island Historic District, and then identify plant and animal life at Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary. On the next day, kick back and relax at Jacksonville Beach, identify plant and animal life at St. Augustine Wild Reserve, and then test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms.

You can drive from Savannah to Jacksonville in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 85°F in May, and nighttime lows around 62°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can go by car to Charleston.
