Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Take a break from the city and head to Snoqualmie Falls and Hiram M. Chittenden Locks. Get some cultural insight at Chihuly Garden and Glass and Seattle Art Museum. Explore Seattle's surroundings by going to Tacoma (Museum of Glass, Chihuly Bridge of Glass, &more) and Bellingham (Fairhaven Historic District & Whatcom Falls Park). There's still lots to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Bruce Lee Grave Site, see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, stroll through Alki Beach, and admire the natural beauty at Washington Park Arboretum.
