Spend the 2nd (Thu) exploring nature at The Narrows. Spend the 3rd (Fri) exploring nature at Zion National Park. The adventure continues: hike along Angel's Landing, get great views at Observation Point, admire all the interesting features of Zion Shuttle, and take a memorable drive along Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway.

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sun): take some stellar pictures from Paria View, then take in panoramic vistas at Bryce Point, then get great views at Inspiration Point, and finally stroll through Navajo/Queens Garden Loop. Keep things going the next day: hike along Rim Trail, then hike along Queen's Garden Trail, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Sunset Point, and finally hike along Navajo Loop Trail.
